Web Design
It starts with your business
How does your business function? What do you need from your web design? Who is your web design selling to? What are they like? How are they responding to the web design? There are so many questions that go into proper web design efforts before any mouse starts clicking and before we can start the design process. We take a straight forward approach where we interview your company and discover how your business ticks. Then we interview some sample customers and we find out how they want to interact with your firm. Once this discovery is complete, then we get to the actual design phase of the website.
While doing your web design business analysis we will investigate how your business flows:
- How to place an order
- How to capture a customer
- How to deliver on a sale
- How to transfer data with a customer
- How to handle problems
- How to work with your suppliers
It has to speak to human beings
Who is looking? What do they want to see? How do they want to work with your website? What do they think once they have?
As we tune your web design to meet the needs of human beings we evaluate the following:
- User interfaces (UI)
- Web design branding
- Calls to action
- Customer feedback
- Color psychology
- Security (captcha, validation)
It has to communicate with robots
Are you visible to the robot spiders? Can search engines get what they want? Is your web design allowing proper stacking? Do you concentrate your PR "juice" to your other web design pages?
As we build out your web design, we will ensure that the search engines and automatic spiders can see what we need them to see (your money pages) on your web design:
- Robots.txt
- META tags
- Titles and descriptions
- NOFOLLOW strategies
- Keyword densities
- Cooperation with the human side
Once we have completed the analysis it is time to begin the web design process. We engage in web design by publishing the web design analysis, redlining it with you, updating the web design strategy, building out the web design skeleton (wireframes), generating the web design artwork, mocking up the user interface (UI) layer, testing the web design with focus groups, verifying the web design with multiple personality types, then deploying the beta web design.
Art is subjective
We begin the design process with a wireframe diagram which allows us to come to agreement on placement, functionality and other skeletal aspects of the web design. Once that is complete we proceed to the concept art phase of the web design which finalizes look, feel and branding.

Web design is also a highly subjective art form. Saying to any firm that our own designs are the only good way to visually represent your business is a mistake. This is why we provide internal design but we also partner with several design firms who can also help you with the creative and commercial design phase of your project.
